First birthdays are so special and I love to capture these fun (and messy!) memories. My style of cake smash photography is to keep it simple with a colour theme of two or three colours. I feel "less is more". I feel your images look best when the background is not 'too busy'. The background should be just that and not take away the attention from your beautiful child.

A cake smash photo shoot includes a small range of decorations such as balloons and paper pom pom balls or you are more than welcome to BYO decorations too. You are to bring your own cake or I can organsie this at an additional cost from a local cake maker.

All cake smash sessions start with a few nice portrait shots in a special outfit (your child's outfit). We then get your child changed in to what he/she would be wearing for the cake smash and the fun cake smashing takes place!

Once the cake smash is over, we continue on with a warm bubble bath to get your child all clean before leaving my home studio. This is another opportunity to capture some gorgeous photos of your child enjoying a warm bubble bath in my lovely vintage clawfoot bathtub (it's the perfect size for a one year old).
